He is the Chef and Co-Founder of Charley St, a fast casual restaurant in Nolita that serves healthy farm-to-table eats. The restaurant is also home to Dan’s own production kitchen, where he films videos and content with thought leaders in food and wellness.
With this reach, Dan has grown his social media following to more than 130,000, who keep up with his recipes and global adventures across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, via his popular food blog and with his Podcast, The Epic Table.
Skilled in front of and behind the camera, Dan has hosted the popular docu-series Surfing the Menu (Discovery Channel) and recently self-produced his own series Feast with Friends, which airs on Scripps Network’s Genius Kitchen and has been renewed for a second season in 2018.
Dan’s cookbooks DudeFood, The Healthy Cook and Surfing the Menu have sold around the world. His widespread appeal has led to him being named as Brand Ambassador for companies including QANTAS, Intel, Tourism Australia, Cobram Estate and California Almonds.
Dan is the first chef to be appointed Ambassador to sports clothing company Under Armour. He will attend the 2018 Winter Olympics alongside Olympic Gold Medallist Lindsey Vonn to represent the brand.
As a Brand Ambassador, Dan has created content that has drawn in millions of views. When deciding which brands to work with, Dan is very selective, choosing only the companies he feels reflect his goal to promote better health and quality food.
To add to his achievements, this highly accomplished Aussie is set to take on the role of Executive Chef at his own restaurant. Charley St will open in New York’s NoLIta district in early 2018, featuring a tempting menu created from nourishing ingredients. The venue will also include its own, fully functioning kitchen studio, offering a one of a kind opportunity for video content creation.

Growing up in Australia, Dan has always had a passion for cooking and all things outdoors. With a Masters in Exercise Science, Dan established himself as a sought-after Health Coach and had already published his first cookbook before being selected from 20,000 applicants as a contestant on Australia’s hit show MasterChef.
