Green Chia Protein Bites with Athletic Greens

You all know that when it comes to color, I try and make it part of every meal. The more color, the more nutrients you’re getting, and the more you’re going to see the results and goals you’re after! So I decided to add a pop of color to one of my go-tos, these chia protein bites! Ideal for post workout or a midday snack to keep you fueled up, provide protein, and nourish you! And we are achieving this with the help of our friends at Athletic Greens!

What makes these Chia Protein Bites healthy?

There’s nothing not to love about these chia protein bites from a health perspective! The chia, cashews, and coconut oil give you brain power and healthy fats, the Athletic Greens protein is great for obviously that protein boost, and their Greens powder is ideal for getting in antioxidants, immune and anti-inflammatory ingredients, and plenty of probiotic and prebiotic ingredients to keep your digestion on point!

What makes these Chia Protein Bites easy?

Friends, this is one epic snack idea for the new year. You all have been asking me some of my secrets to staying healthy, motivated, and fueled up for workouts and the busy holiday season. Well this is one of my top tips. Combine Athletic Greens into your chia protein bites for a healthy twist on your every day bliss ball.

Greens-Boosted Chia Protein Bites

Serves: 10
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Skill Level: Easy!
Cost: Less than $5

Ingredients:

¼ cup chia seeds
½ cup cashews
1 cup medjool dates, roughly chopped
2 scoops Athletic Greens powder (my greens supplement of choice!)
2 scoops Athletic Greens vanilla protein powder (my protein of choice!)
¼ tsp sea salt
½ tsp vanilla extract
Splash of almond milk
2 TBSP cacao powder
½ cup shredded coconut

Method:

  1. Blitz everything except the coconut + cacao together in a food processor until you have a sticky mixture. Roll into balls, then roll the balls into the shredded coconut or dust lightly with cacao powder for a chocolate version!
