Chocolate PB Protein Smoothie

Chocolate PB Protein Smoothie

This chocolate peanut butter protein smoothie tastes like dessert but is actually ideal for fueling performance! If you’re curious how, read on team! Hint, it’s all about that decadent Chocolate protein powder we’re adding…

This is another simple, everyday kind of smoothie (just add everything to a blender and pour!). As always legends, you know that my key smoothie making tip is to always add your liquid base first. In this case the oat milk is added first so that it helps catch all the rest of the ingredients. Tag me in your smoothie creations on @dan_churchill!

Why is this smoothie so great for performance? It’s been seen that cacao (the dark, unprocessed base for chocolate) has positive effects on cardiovascular health – and now a new study has found the tasty ingredient could help give athletes an extra edge in their fitness training! We’re also adding in peanut butter, which is calorie dense and a good source of energy and healthy fat, as well as B complex vitamins to support nervous system function and energy production. Talk about a win-win!
