Team! If you are looking for a nutrient-rich smoothie, perfect for a breakfast or snack on the go, look no further. This smoothie is fresh and packed with 75 vitamins and minerals! As you might already know, I have been a big fan of Athletic Greens for the past 6 years. It is a staple in my daily life. Here, I incorporate it in one of my favorite smoothies, a green pineapple smoothie. Let’s make it!

What should you put in a smoothie?

Smoothies are one of the easiest ways to add vitamins, minerals, and fibers to your diet. I love them because they literally take 2 minutes to make. Place all your ingredients in a blender, and voila! First, add your liquid base to the blender. We use plant-based milk to add a creamy texture for this recipe, but you can replace it by adding water. Then, add all your fruits and vegetables. I like to mix frozen and fresh products. If you are looking to make a smoothie bowl reduce the amount of liquid to ensure a thicker texture. I want to have a smoothie packed with nutrients, so I often mix fruits and vegetables. I also add a source of fat, such as chia seeds, flax seeds, or nut butter. You can also add the protein powder of your choice to increase your protein intake throughout the day.

What is the benefit of spinach?

I enjoy adding leafy greens to my diet. Adding spinach to the smoothie increases my daily vegetables and fiber intake. Spinach is loaded with vitamins (A, C, K1), iron, and magnesium. While magnesium fights inflammation, iron helps maintain healthy blood and boosts the immune system. It is essential to consume it alongside fruits or vegetables rich in vitamin C like pineapple for maximum absorption.

Is pineapple a fat burner?

Pineapple is often described as “good for weight loss,” but is it true? Pineapple is rich in fibers, manganese, and the enzyme bromelain. On the one hand, fibers ensure good bowel movement and promote a healthy digestive tract. On the other hand, manganese regulates the metabolism of fat, and bromelain encourages digestion and helps metabolize protein. Combined with a balanced healthy diet, pineapple can help with weight loss. This green pineapple smoothie recipe boosts your immune system, ensures that you feel full and healthy throughout the day. Enjoy!
